Use this as a starting map, then adapt it to the people, tools, and permissions involved. This site does not connect to a customer system or execute an automation.

The process

1. Define the question

Explain what the pilot will test and what it will not establish. Avoid vague promises about transformation or guaranteed revenue.

2. Write the deliverable

Agree on scope, dependencies, approvals, revisions, and completion criteria before work starts.

3. Run the small version

Use a checklist and a real owner. Record changes in scope and obtain approval rather than quietly expanding the work.

4. Review and hand over

Ask the buyer to check the defined deliverable. Document any remaining limits, maintenance requirements, and outstanding decisions.

5. Learn from the effort

Compare actual work with your original estimate. Record what should change before offering the service again.

Before this goes live

Use this local checklist to prepare the workflow. These checks are a starting point, not a full security or compliance assessment.

Choose tools last

Start with the systems already in use. A new tool needs a specific job and a responsible owner. Confirm supported actions, plan requirements, data handling, and failure behavior before enabling an integration.
