It is easy to confuse preparing to build with building. A new tool can make the idea feel more real, but the better starting question is often less exciting: what exactly needs to happen next?
Maybe the next step is writing the offer in a document. Maybe it is asking someone how they solve the problem today. Maybe it is delivering the work manually once so you understand it well enough to automate later.
None of those steps needs a perfect tech stack. Each can give you something a stack cannot: a clearer reason for what you are doing.
One thing to try
Open a blank note. Write three lines:
The person I want to help is…
The problem I want to understand is…
The next thing I can do to learn is…
Choose an action small enough to fit into the time you have. After you do it, write what happened—not what you hoped it meant.
